Abstract

This paper simply presented the theory of DDS.Use the DDS to design arbitrary waveform generator,it can generate different kinds of waveform such as rectangular wave, sine wave, triangle wave, sawtooth and so on.It design and realize by using Verilog HDL.It has been simulated by QuartusⅡ6.0 software and downloaded to cycloneⅡ chip(FPGA).
