An Analysis of the Facts and Causes about Liang Qichao Demoting Fang Bao

Not only Liang Qichao demoted Fang Bao’ identity as a moralist and Litterateur,especially de-spised his moral quality in his History of China’s Academics in the Nearly 300 Years.Although it had certain ba-sis for Liang Qichao to denounce Fang Bao,he was more with own feelings,from his subjective standpoints and the needs of the times struggle to come to the conclusion.And all the matters do not conform to the facts fully.We should accept Liang Qichao’ opinion critically and give Fang Bao adue academic status.
