Abstract
Liang Qichao and Wang Guowei had different ideas on literature.Liang Qichao claimed that literature should serve the reality while Wang Guowei affirmed the literature should go for thetruth of all ages.The responses to their ideas differ greatly in different ages.This paper tries to analyze the reasons for the rise and fall of the literature ideologies of Liang Qi-chao Wang Guo-wei at different times from M.H.Abrams' four factors of literary activities.
