Efficacy of Zhizhu Kuanzhong capsules in the treatment of patients with functional dyspepsia

OBJECTIVE To investigate the efficacy of Zhizhu Kuanzhong capsules in the treatment of functional dyspepsia.METHODS The treatment group was given with Zhizhu Kuanzhong capsules,and the control group was treated with mosapride.The course was 6 weeks.The therapeutic effect,the integral of the symptoms,plasma motilin was observed.RESULTS The total effective rates were respectively 95.2% in treatment group and 77.0% in control group.The therapeutic effects between two groups had marked difference(P0.05).The improving rate of the symptoms in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group(P0.05).Compared with pre-treatment,the level of motilin post-treatment in evevy groups both markedly elevated(P0.05).The level of motilin post-treatment between two groups had no marked difference(P0.05).No adverse reaction occurred in treatment group.CONCLUSION Zhizhu Kuanzhong capsule could increase the content of motilin in plasma to promote gastric emptying、improve symptoms in patients with functional dyspepsia,The recipe is safe and well tolerated.
