Abstract
The influence of quenching and tempering temperature on mechanical properties and microstructure of a sort of low alloy steel was investigated. The results show that the microstructure is tempered martensite and retained austenite and some carbide after oil quenching at 890℃×1h and tempering at 250℃×2 h. HRC≥50, A KU ≥40J/cm 2 .The impact fracture is gliding fracture.
