Effect of different pruning and fruit thinning methods on yield and quality of guava

The pruning,especially the medium shoot pruning could improve the new shoot number and fruit production very much.The pruning methods of remaining single fruit or double fruits had remarkable effects on raising fruit weight,soluble sugar contents,but had little effects on fruit hardness and organic acid contents.Remaining single fruit could raise vitamin C contents effectively,but remaining double fruits had little effects compared with CK.
