Abstract
Objective To evaluate the clinical effect of nimodipine on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage and its impact on early hematoma volume. Methods A total of 69 patients with hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage were selected in the People's Hospital of Xiajiang County from February 2011 to May 2013,and they were randomly divided into observation group( n = 35)and control group( n = 34). Both groups were given conventional therapy, while observation group was given extra nimodipine. NIHSS score, hematoma volume before treatment and 3,7,10 days after treatment were compared between the two groups, and clinical effect after two weeks was observed. Results No statistically significant differences of NIHSS score, hematoma volume was found between the two groups before treatment( P 0. 05); NIHSS score of observation group was higher than that of control group 3,7,10 days after treatment, respectively( P 0. 05),while hematoma volume of observation group was smaller than that of control group 3,7,10 days after treatment, respectively( P 0. 05). In the observation group,18 cases got better effect,14 cases got good effect,3 cases got bad effect; in the control group,11 cases got better effect,13 cases got good effect,10 cases got bad effect, the clinical effect of observation group was better than that of control group( P 0. 05). Conclusion Nimodipine has certain clinical effect on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, can effectively improve the neurological function and reduce the hematoma volume.
