Abstract

Liaohe River Basin rural drinking water problem is a typical example of Chinese rural drinking water problem.Water resources of Liaohe River Basin is in serious shortage and has big seasonal changes,water supply quantity of rural drinking water can't be ensured.Rural drinking water quality problem is serious: high fluorine water,high Fe water,high arsenic water,low-iodine water,brackish water,pollution water(The overstandard of NO-3,total hardness,NH+4 etc.) are universal.Water supply instrument is backward and it has not cleaning facility.Countermeasures and suggestions are put forward based on analyzing the present situation of Liaohe River Basin rural drinking water in this paper: Improving the utilization ratio of water resource,controling the pollutants from the source,taking the suitable water treatment technology and perfecting water supply facilities,it provides a scientific basis for improving the present sitution of rural drinking water.
