The influence of Psychological intervention on patients with decompensated cirrhosis

Objective To investigate the influence of the psychological nursing intervention for patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis.Methods 84 patients admitted with cirrhosis were randomly divided into study group and control group from May 2011 to May 2007 in our hospital,two groups were treated with conventional medical treatment and care,and research group on this basis of conventional medical treatment and care was given systematic psychological nursing intervention and SAS,SDS scores and complication ratesbetween two groups patients were compared.Results The study group after the interven tion of the SAS score,SDS scores were significantly lower than before the intervention,and was significantly lower than the control group(P 0.05).Compared with the control group,gastrointestinal bleeding,infection,hepatic coma,hepatorenal syndrome,ascites,electrolyte disorders of the study group patients were significantly lower than the control group(P 0.05).Conclusion Patients with decompensated cirrhosis who given psychological nursing intervention reduce the complications incidence and the anxie-ty,depression and other negative psychological state has been significantly improved,the disease is restored and it can improve the patient's quality of life.
