Abstract

Adsorption of Cr6+ by modified peanut shell was studied. The effects of pH value, initial concentration of Cr6+,contact time, temperature and modified peanut shell dosage on adsorption had been investigated. The results indicated that modified peanut shell had good adsorption to Cr6+.In condition of 33℃,1.0 g modified peanut shell,50 mL 20 mg·L1 Cr6+ solution, the initial pH value 2.0 and contact time 120 min,the adsorption rate of Cr6+ could be up to 98.4%.
