Abstract
The recent research progress and developments of the catalysts for methane catalytic combustion were described in this paper. The preparation methods and catalytic activities of catalysts based on Pd, Pt, Rh, Au noble metals and metal-oxides were briefly summarized and assessed. It is also pointed out that catalytic activity and heat resistant are the two key factors for methane catalytic combustion. It is shown that the addition of metals and metal|oxides improves the thermal stability of noble metal catalysts and metal-oxide catalysts such as perovskites and hexaaluminates, and brings benefit to activity in methane catalytic combustion.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
