Abstract
Mobile IP is a scheme for Mobile Nodes moving in the Internet. MPLS routes packets in the IP layer and provides label switching in the layer 2. MPLS can increase the speed of packet forwarding. The industries have much interest in extending the functions of MPLS to make MPLS supporting mobility. The thesis mainly describes the techniques of MPLS supporting MobileIP.
