Abstract
The characteristics of mobile IP technology and MPLS technology are briefly introduced in this paper, and the scheme for the integration of mobile IP and MPLS is presented. By replacing the forwarding of IP with the label switching of MPLS, the scheme cuts down the overheads of transmission and improves the expanding performance of IP. Meanwhile, it provides mobile performance for MPLS.
