Improving the Quality of Rural Compulsory Education:Some Suggestions

It is more obvious that the underdeveloped rural areas show a negative effect. The economic development is not on the same level between the urban and rural areas, mainly due to the imbalance of educational development. The gap between urban and rural compulsory education at present is obviously shown in the different qualities of education. Measures should be taken to perfect the teaching facilities, raise the teachers' quality, strengthen the management of the rural schools and improve their environment so as to update the standard of compulsory education in the rural areas. The coordinate development of urban and rural economy will be enhanced by the balanced development of their education.
