Abstract
In order to improve the seismic behavior of structures and meet the demands of different performance objects,a static nonlinear analysis based on capacity-spectrum method is applied into RC frame structure equipped with fluid viscous damper systems, which combines with Chinese Seismic Design Code.On the basis of characteristics of RC frame structure, simplified computing method of equivalent damping ratio is presented. Then,an example is analyzed by static nonlinear analysis method, and the results show that the method in this paper is simple and feasible.
