Abstract
For the frame structures with viscous damper, the dynamic equation of the viscous damping structure was established. The response of viscous damping structure under random seismic excitation in the earthquake was solved by using of pseudo excitation method and Kanai-Tajimi seismic model. The reliability analysis of the viscous damper structures was made based on the first-passage failure theory.By adjusting the different brace stiffness and damping coefficient,it is concluded that these parameters on the influence of the viscous damping structure dynamic reliability.
