Clinical Value of Serum TSGF Examination to Lung Cancer

Abstract

Objective To evaluate the clinical value of serum tumor specific growth factor(TSGF)examination to lung cancer Method Examine the serum TSGF OF 64 Patients diagnosed clinically as lung cancer, 36 Benign Pulmonary Disease(BPD)patients, and 42 normal people(as control) Result The mean serum TSGF in lung cancer group was 81.28±14.57 μ/ml(the positive rate was 81.20%), which was significantly high compared with that in BPD group or in control group ( P 0.01) There was marked difference in BPD group after treatment for two weeks and before treatment, but no marked difference in control group ( P 0.05) Conclusion As a new carcinoma symbol, TSGF has some value to Lung cancer diagnosis
