Spatial Econometrics Analysis of Tourism Consumption of Rural Residents in Province

The paper constructs spatial econometrics model on disparity of tourism consumption standard of rural residents in provinces and analyzes panel data of 27 provinces from 2004 to 2007.The results show that:there is spatial interdependence of tourism consumption of rural residents of Chinese provinces,and the tourism consumption behavior is influenced collectively by the province itself and its neighborhood;the elasticity of per capita income to per capita tourism consumption is positive and significant.The decision-making sector of the government has to consider the spatial interaction mechanism of the tourism consumption of different rural residents in province when establishing the tourism consumption policy of rural residents.
