A NEW SPECIES AND A NEW RECORD OF GENUS TRICHQPHYA MANNERHEIM FROM CHINA (COLEOPTERA: STAPHYUNIDAE, TRICHOPHYINAE)

Abstract

This paper describes a new species and a new record of genus Trichophya from sichuan, China.The type specimens are kept in the Depa rtment of Biology, Nanchong Teachers College, Sichuan.Trichophya tenuis sp. nov.This new species is very similar to T. rudis, but can be recognized by very finely, less clo-sely, and not roughly punctured on the head and pronotum.Holotype ♀: Sichuan (Wolong), Alt. 2400 M., VII 17. 1983, collected by Lu Ying.
