Abstract

Objective To test the acute toxicity of biopesticide-Metarhizium, include oral toxicity, dermal toxicity, inhalation toxicity, eye irritation and dermal sensitization. Methods The toxicological test methods of pesticides for registration(GB15670-1995) was employed. Results The acute oral toxicity of this biopesticide-Metarhizium was LD 505000 mg/kg, acute dermal toxicity LD 50(4 h)2150 mg/kg, LC 50(2 h)5000 mg/m 3, there was noirrtation to rabbit eye, dermal sensitiztion:rate of sensitization was zero. Conclusion This biopesticide-Metarhizium acute oral toxicity, acute dermal toxicity and acute inhalation toxicity are lower toxicity. There is no irritation to rabbit eye, and it belongs to grad I weak sensitizing matter.
