The effect of low-dose aminophylline and steroid in the treatment of cough variant asthma study

Objective:To observe the low-dose aminophylline and steroid treatment of cough variant asthma.Methods:60 patients with cough variant asthma were randomly divided into two groups and the control group,30 cases in each group and control group before going to bed inhaled beclomethasone dipropionate 300 μg/d,14 days later reduced to 200 μg/d,1 month after 100 μg/d.Observation group were based on the use of small doses of aminophylline 0.2 g/d,14 days later reduced to 0.1 g/d,1 month after the 0.05 g/d,bedtime orally for 6 months observation of curative effects were observed. Results:The frequency of asthma attack group,the duration of each attack were lower than the control group(P0.05) ,peak expiratory flow indices of pulmonary function(PEF) control group(P0.01) .Conclusion:Low dose aminophylline BDP synergistic effect on cough variant asthma control has a positive effect,and can improve lung function.
