Abstract

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of adjuvant treatment low-dose theophylline cough variant asthma. Methods All 100 patients were divided into group A(n=55 patients, conventional treatment) and group B(n=45 cases,on the basis of conventional therapy to give a small dose of aminophylline treatment). Results In normal oxygen, cough, phlegm, asthma, inflammatory, symptomatic and supportive treatment based on the application after aminophylline,B group was significantly better than group A(P0.05),and number of asthma attacks and duration of each episode of group B was significantly lower than group A(P0.05).Group B which improved lung function was more significantly than group A(P0.05).Conclusion Low-dose theophylline assisted cough variant asthma is effective, patients can significantly reduce the number of attacks and the onset time, and to improve lung function,it should be promoted and applied.
