Expression of VEGF,CD105 in gastric cancer and its correlation with prognosis

Abstract

Objective:To study the expression of VEGF,CD105 in gastric cancer tissues and its correlation with prognosis.Methods:The expression of VEGF,CD105 were detected in 53 gastric carcinoma samples by immunohistochemical method.Results:The expression rate of VEGF was 60.3%,and closely related to the lymph node metastasis and TNM stage(P0.05),but not to histological differentiation,gender and age.There was significant difference in disease free survival or overall survival between the gastric cancer patients with positive and negative expression.Conclusion:The expression level of VEGF,CD105 may serve as a prognostic marker and guide the postoperation adjuvant therapy for gastric cancer patients.
