Expression of P53,C-erbB-2 and VEGF in gastric cancer and the clinical significance

[Objective]By analyzing the relationship between P53,C-erbB-2 and VEGF expression in gastric cancer and clinical features of gastric cancer,to help accurate determination the patient's condition and prognosis.[Methods]By collecting surgically resected and pathologically confirmed cases of gastric cancer,get 60 cases of complete clinical data.To observe P53,C-erbB-2 and VEGF expression in gastric cancer,and to analyse by using SPSS 10.0 statistical software.[Results] Positive rate of P53 gene expression in gastric cancer was 60%.P53 gene expression was positively correlated with the differentiation and lymphaden metastases.Positive rate of C-erbB-2 gene expression in gastric cancer was 73.3%.C-erbB-2 gene expression was positively correlated with the extension and lymphaden metastases.Positive rate of VEGF expression in gastric cancer was 75%.VEGF expression was positively correlated with the extension,lymphaden metastases and clinical stages.[Conclusion] Combined detection of the expression of P53,C-erbB-2 and VEGF in gastric cancer may give some guideline for the clinical diagnosis,illness evaluation,treatment and prognosis of gastric cancer.
