Abstract

One step dyeing process for polyester/cotton blended knits with reactive dyes and disperse dyes in one bath was undertaken under weak alkaline or neutral conditions using selected dyes. ERD disperse dye is more suitable for alkali dyeing in one bath. With cyclodextrin, the deepening effect and level dyeing was obvious. Some B type dyes has higher K/S value in neutral condition than in weak alkaline. The process features simple operation, good levelness and color fastness, as well as low energy consumption.
