Study on Hierarchy Fixture Library Technology of CAFD

Abstract

An important aspect of fixture aided design and PDM is the management of fixture elements,fixture components and cases libraries.In this paper the integrated architecture of fixture libraries and CAD system is proposed.Based on the design thought of hierarchy and flexibility,the implementation methods and process based on Solidworks of fixture libraries are studied,and has been used in PDM system.It is proved to be feasible.
