Abstract

In this paper, a developing method of fixture CAD software system based onengineering database and AutoCAD software is introduced. It consists of cataloguemanagement of fixture parts and fixture parts CAD. The standard and non-standard fixturepwts can be designed with it, and the corresponding 2D-drawing can be created automaticallyThus the speed and quality of fixture design are greatly improved
