Abstract

To investigate the clinical curative effect of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) combined with type Ⅱ respiratory failure. Methods 78 COPD patients with type Ⅱ respiratory failure in our hospital from 2010 to 2012 years were randomly divided into conventional treatment group(control group) and noninvasive positive pressure ventilation treatment group(observation group),39 cases in each group, observed the clinical curative effect of two groups. Results The total effective rate of patients in observation group was 92.3%,significantly higher than that in control group(74.4%),the difference between two groups was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusion Taking noninvasive positive pressure ventilation in the treatment of COPD with respiratory failure has good clinical curative effect, and has minor traumato patients,it is a safe and effective treatment modality, worthy of further clinical application.
