Abstract
Objective:To observe the therapeutic effects of point injection at cervical Jiaji points and effects on hemorheology in patients with cervical spondylosis of arterial type (CSA). Methods: Sixty cases of CSA were equally randomized into treatment group (treated with acupoint injection at cervical Jiaji points) and control group (treated with electro-acupuncture). The therapeutic effects and the changes of hemorheology were evaluated before and after treatment. Results: The total effective rate was 96.7% in the treatment group and 93.3% in the control group,and no significant differences were seen between the two groups in therapeutic effect (P0.05). In both groups there was lower parameters for hemorheology after treatment than before (P0.01). Conclusion: Both acupoint injection and electro-acupuncture at cervical Jiaji points could achieve satisfactory clinical effectiveness and improve the hemorheology.
