Clinical Study on Analgesic Effect of Acupoint Injection at Cervical Jiaji Points for the Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis of Nerve Root Type

Objective: To observe the analgesic effect of acupoint injection at cervical Jiaji points for the treatment of cervical spondylosis of nerve root type.Methods:Ninety-five patients with cervical spondylosis of nerve root type were randomized into treatment group and control group.Patients in treatment group received acupoint injection at cervical Jiaji points,while patients in control group received acupuncture and electroacupuncture.The time of onset,acting time and analgesic effect were evaluated.Results:The mean time of onset of analgesic effect was shorter,the duration was longer and the analgesic effect was better in treatment group compared with those in control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Compared with acupuncture and electroacupuncture,acupoint injection at cervical Jiaji points displays better instant as well as long-term analgesic effect.
