Study on the treatment effect of root canal filling for once with vitapex on deciduous teeth

Objective To observe the clinical effect of root canal filling with vitapex on deciduous tooth at single service.Methods Totally 276 deciduous teeth which needed root canal filling were randomly divided into three groups.G roup A was treated with vitapex paste for once,group B was treated with zinc oxide eugenol for once,group C was treated with zinc oxide-eugenol for several times.The cases were followedup and observed after two weeks,six months and 1 year respectively.Results The success rate of group A was higher than group B after two weeks(P0.05).After sixm onths and one year,group A showed the highest rate of success,but there was no significant difference between group Aa nd the other two groups(P0.05).Conclusion The treatment method of root canal filling with Vitapex paste for onceis effective;it can reduce treatment times and shorten the course,so it should be used widely in clinic.
