Abstract

Isoamyl butyrate was synthesized by using potassium bisulfate as the catalyst. Many effects were investigated such as amount of catalyst, reaction time, molar ratio of alcohol to acid and repeat use. Experimental results showed that it is an efficient and environmental friendly catalyst.
