Clinical study of Amlodipine Besylate and Benazepril in patients with single systolic hypertension

Objective To observe the clinical effeacy of Amlodipine Besylate and Benazepril in patients with single systolic hypertension.Methods 150 patients diagnosed single systolic hypertention were assigned randomly 3 groups:A group(n=50) treated with Amlodipine Besylate(5.0 mg/d),B group(n=50)treated with Benazepril(10.0 mg/d),C Compared to before treatment,the patients,pressure in group A and group B decrease significantly respectively(P0.05),group(n=50)treated with Amlodipine Besylate(5 mg/d) and Benazepril(10.0 mg/d),The effect of 3 grous were recorded.Results In controling systolic pressure level,it was more effective the combination of Amlodipine Besylate and benazepril than single Amlodipine Besylate(P0.05) or single benazepril(P0.05).Conclusion The combination of Amlodipine Besylate and benazepril in treating single systolic hypertension is more effective and safer than either single Amlodipine Besylate or single benazepril.
