Abstract

The results of soilless culture showed that in proper K application treatment the fruit set percentage, yield, Vc, soluble sugar and organic acid content of tomato increased, nitrate content and blotchy ripening in tomato fruit decreased significantly. But in excessive K application treatment, the yield and quality decreased. The ratio of nitrogen to potassium was very important, N_2K_3 (N 250ug·g~-1, K 760ug·g~-1) was the the treatment.
