Abstract

Based on the fertilization of farmer's practice, the effects of potassium fertilizer dosage on the quality and yield of tomato in greenhouse were studied. Results showed that the proper fertilization was the foundation of maintaining the balance of vegetative and reproductive growth of tomato. The proper application of potassium fertilizer compared with the fertilization of farmer's practice not only increased the fruit number, the fruit weight and the yield of tomato, but also increased the net income.Sugar content and Vc content in tomato had an increasing trend with the increase of potassium fertilizer, but NO-3~——N content had a decreasing trend.Reducing the inorganic nitrogen fertilizer properly promoted the sugar content in tomato together with the increase of potassium fertilizer.Adding potassium fertilizer of 150 kg/hm~2 was proper to increase the yield and quality of tomato with the application of chicken dung 45 m~3/hm~2,N 600 kg/hm~2,P-2O-5 300 kg/hm~2,K-2O 300 kg/hm~2 as chemical fertilizers, which was the fertilization of farmer's practice.
