Abstract

Task-based approach is student centred approach which can be applied in the college English teaching to cultivate students'integrated language skills and autonomous learning competence by fulfilling various tasks or activities.This paper explored the definition and teaching belief of task based teaching and how to apply this approach in College English teaching.
