On Drawing-up of Internet Addiction Scale for Middle School Students

Abstract

This Internet Addiction Scale for Middle School Students,using middle school students in Fujian province as subjects,adopts standardized measurement programming.The internal consistency coefficient of the scale is 0.963,its split-half reliability is 0.926/0.940,and its overall interpretation weight is 61.975%,indicating that this scale has preferable validity.The norms for this internet addiction has been preliminary established which can be used as the scale for the internet addiction screening for middle school students or for other related researches.
