Initial Setup&Analysis of Internet Addiction Measuring Scale of Junior Middle-School Students

Internet addiction can exert various negative effects on the adolescent healthy growth,causing great harm. The scale is drawn up by referring to the relevant information such as Internet addiction questionnaires,based on clinical symptoms of Internet addiction disorder and cognitive characteristics of junior middle-school students,and it is appropriate for the characteristics of adolescent age.By using this scale to make a questionnaire survey of junior middle-school students in Shanghai,findings show that the scale has the reliability with better internal consistency and the criterion-related validity,is an effective tool to test the internet addiction of junior middle-school students and can be used for screening and preventing the adolescent Internet addiction disorder.
