Experimental blasting quarrying of construction material for zone I of dam of Nuozhadu Hydropwer Station

The construction material for the fill zone I of Nuozhadu Hydropower Station is supplied from the excavations of both the outlet section of the spillway and the stilling pond under El.740,which mainly consists of weak weathered and newish granite and breccia.Before the excavation,blasting experiment is made in the excavating areas for both the rocks,so as to ensure the excavated material to meet the grading requirement for the filling materials of the dam body;with which better economic benefit has been obtained.
