Abstract
Objective To explore the significance of serum TBA,ADA,LAP,and AFU in diagnosis of liver diseases.Method Serum levels of TBA,ADA,LAP and AFU in 91 patients with different liver diseases and 30 healthy people were examined with Olympus Au640 auto biochemical analyzer. The results were analyzed statistically. Results Four biochemical items increased in patients with different liver diseases. The mean values of TBA and LAP in acute hepatitis patients were significantly higher than those in healthy people. The positive rates of TBA and LAP were 90% and 85%.The mean values of ADA in patients with chronic hepatitis or liver cirrhosis were significantly higher than those in healthy people. The positive rates were 80.0% and 85.2%.The mean values of AFU and LAP in liver cancer patients were significantly higher than those in healthy people. The positive rates of AFU and LAP were 71.4% and 92.8%.Conclusions TBA,LAP are valuable markers for diagnosing acute hepatitis.ADA is a valuable marker for diagnosing chronic hepatitis and liver cirrhosis.LAP and AFU are valuable markers for diagnosing liver cancer.
