Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the value of cytological smear combined with colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical disease. Methods: Cytological smear combined with colposcopic to cervical lesions for screen in our hospital from Jan 2004 to Dec 2004, Analysis of result was according to diagnosis of pathology. Results:6847 were performed on cervical smears,266(3. 88%)case with abnormal smear,colposcopic were 1063 woman,522cases by routine biopsy under colposcopy, 134 (1. 95%) case of pathological findings with CIN, included 56(0. 82%) with CIN Ⅰ , 49 (0. 72%) with CIN Ⅱand 29(0. 42%) with CTN Ⅲ,5(0. 07%) with invasive carcinoma of cervix uteri, 13(0. 19%) infected with HPV, 370(5. 4%) with chronic cervicitis. There was significant difference between two groups(P0. 05). Conclusions:Cervical smear combined with colposcopic and pathologic diagnosis can find cervical lesions in time.
