An clinical observation on treating stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with bufei quyu decoction

Objective To observe and assess the therapeutic effect of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) with Bufei Quyu Decoction. Methods Seventy patients in compliance with inclusive standards were randomized into a observation group and a control group,35 cases in each one. In control group,treated with basic Western medicine. In the observation group,On the basis Western medicine with Bufei Quyu Decoction,All patients before and after treatment were evaluated clinical symptom score,lung function. After treatment,clinical symptoms were recorded to determine the efficacy,adverse reaction. Results After treatment,the observation group and the control group the total effective rate were 85. 71% and 62. 86%,there was significant difference( P 0. 05); compared with the control group,the observation group significantly improved clinical symptoms,but pulmonary function before and after treatment in the two groups were no difference. No adverse reaction was found during treatment. Conclusion Bufei Quyu Decoction can improve clinical symptoms in patients with stable chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
