Abstract
Objective To study the therapeutic value of thoracoscopic talc spraying pleurodesis in malignant pleural effusion. Methods Malignant pleural effusion patients were divided into thoracoscopic treatment group and the traditional catheter group according to different time and treatment. Thoracoscopy group patients were treated pleural and effusion with thoracoscopic, then spraying talc; conventional catheter group after pleural cavity closed drainage, perfus talc glue into pleural cavity. Compare the efficacy and adverse reactions. Results Thoracoscopic group efficiency( 96%) was significantly higher than conventional catheter group( 73%)( P0. 05),and hospitalization time, drainage time were shorter than conventional catheter group. Conclusion Thoracoscopic talc spraying pleurodesis sould be an effective manner in control of malignant pleural effusion, worthy promotion.
