On the Characteristics of Cultural Diversity in Contemporary China

With the reform and opening up,Chinese culture has undergone the change from the unity to the diversity.Chinese cultural diversity has shown the change from the form diversity to the substantial diversity,from the region to outside region and increasingly been showing its characteristics of the times of the ideology.It has reflected such cultural diversity pattern,that is,the interaction of the heterogeneous cultures such as the traditional culture and modern culture,the local culture and foreign culture,the mainstream culture and non-mainstream culture,the popular culture and elite culture,the advanced culture and the backward culture.In today's China,no matter how the cultural diversity will develop,its development must be guided by Marxism and led by the advanced culture with Chinese characteristics.
