Abstract
Objective:To establish a method for determining the content of magnolol and honokiol in Pingwei effervescent tablets by HPLC. Methods:Magnolol and honokiol were separated on Elite C18 column(4.6mm×200mm,5μm) and detected at 294nm, using methanol-acetonitrile-water(31.5∶ 30.0∶38.5)as mobile phase. Results:The standard curves for magnolol and honokiol were linear in the range of 48.60~468.00μg/ml(r=0.9993) and 10.12~100.20μg/ml(r=0.9994).The average recoveries of magnolol and honokiol were 101.79 % (RSD=1.59 % ) and 101.90 % (RSD=1.78 % ). Conclusion:The method is simple and quick, which is suitable for practical use.
