The Effects of Zuoguishuangjiang Fang (ZGSJF) on Carbohydrate Metabolism and Blood Pressure of Experimental Rats with Diabetic Hypertension

Abstract

The experimental rats with diabeitc hypertension were made by applying surgery for making stenosis of the bilateral nephritic artery,small dose of abdominal injeced streptozotocin(STZ)and high caloric food.Results:After 30 days of ZGSJF ,s therapy,the rats ,blood sugar was decreased ,the abnormal sugar toleration was improved and the blood pressure was suppressed .It showed that ZGSJF based on the traditional Chinese theory of intersupport between Yin and Yang had effect in treating diabetic hypertension.
