Abstract
Objective To observe the success rate and effect of micro-implant anchorage in orthodontic treatment. Methods Totally 76 cases of needing orthodontic treatment patients, divided into experimental and control groups, experimental group using the orthodontic mini-implant anchorage method, while the control group using conventional methods of traditional orthodontics,to observe and compare their success rate and treatment. Results The test group and control group,no significant difference between general information, test group successfully planted micro-implant anchorage in 36 cases, the success rate was 97.4%,growing successful anchorage stability is better, while the control group,33 cases of successful a success rate of 84.2%,lower than the experimental group, and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05),the experimental group molar shift less than the control group, the gap between the incisors protruding more than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).Conclusions Micro-implant anchorage than the traditional use of conventional methods with better efficacy,a higher success rate,is an ideal orthodontic treatment.
