Abstract
Objective This study is to explore the disc degeneration influenced by the cell effects by cells culture of human lumbar disc. Methods Four discs were obtained from three human embryoes. They were dissected and were digested with trypsin and collagenase. The isolated cells were cultured in DMEM.The cultured cells were identified with morphological observation and semiquantitative RT-PCR etc. Results The disc cell can be cultured in vitro,After subculture,The expressions of collagen Ⅰ and collagen Ⅱ are high, also the culture cell provided with differentiation. Conclusion The biological characteristics of the culture disc cells in vivo can keep for a longer time, also they are very similar to the normal nucleus pulposus.
