Abstract

Objective To investigate the methods and results of psychological intervention in children with eye local anesthesia. Methods 80 children with eye local anesthesia in our hospital were randomly selected and divided into two groups. The control group received conventional nursing, while the experimental group received the combined psychological intervention. The children's psychological states were evaluated and surgical cooperation rate was counted. Results The psychological scores after nursing were better than before in the two groups (P0.05); the psychological scores and surgical cooperation rate in experimental group after nursing were better than those in the control group (P0.05). Conclusions Psychological intervention in children with eye local anesthesia can avoid children's anxiety and depression, and enhance the surgical cooperation rate.
