The year 2009 was an unusual period of development of China's logistics industry.Influenced by the international financial crisis, the development of China's logistics industry is facing unprecedented difficulties and challenges.It is just in the light of that, in the year 2009, China introduced the restructuring and rejuvenation program of the logistics industry, which helps provide China's logistics industry with a new opportunity for development.The author believes that there are so many reasons for why the logistics industry was included into this program, such as this industry's contribution to the economic development, the correlativity between this industry and other related industries, the leading role this industry plays, and the requirement for coping with the international crisis.The author also puts forward some countermeasures for the rejuvenation of China's logistics industry, such as the cooperation between government, industrial federations and research institutes, the promotion of socialization and specialization of logistic service, the promotion of the development of some key fields of logistics, the establishment and perfection of policy system for the development of logistics, and so on.
